Sari Ater Hot Springs Resort

Sari Ater Hot Springs is located near Mount Tangkuban Perahu volcano mountain and the city of Bandung. We drove here from the volcano crater (the drive is very scenic) and spent a couple of hours exploring. It cost 17,000 rupiah per person to get in, which is about 2USD. They also charge by vehicle.

The main attraction here is the hot springs. You’ll see many locals everywhere bathing in the pools and showering under some of the waterfalls. We didn’t get into any of the lakes, but I did venture out into a little pool and soaked my feet for a few minutes. The water is naturally hot and they claim the water has many natural healing abilities for rheumatism, skin diseases, and the nervous system.

Besides the hot springs, you’ll find places to eat, souvenir shops, a zip-line ride, thermal bathing rooms, and the fish therapy pool. They also have a hotel and convention center here. It’s a very popular place for locals and you’ll find that many of them come here just to bring their own food and have a picnic.

The White Crater of Mount Patuha

Kawah putih or white Crater is located in the euro area in Ciwidey on a mountain called Mount Patuha met haar height 2386 m the distance is around 46 km 2.5 hours drive from Bandung city. Because of zijn mountainous location the temperature is cold there, it Could reach from 22 to 8 degrees Celsius. Our journey went smooth as we Followed our GPS direction and plus the signage made it Easier.

Before heading we made an online survey and overheard about the expensive cost of car entrance Rp150.000 per car For those Bringing hun eigen car up to the mountain, or course there are additional_image_link charge. But there are other ways u can do, must people mention anything just park hun car voordat the entrance, and uses a shuttle bus dat goes up and down welke cost Rp10.000 per person, ze mention anything about port to Wait until the bus is filled with a lot of people-then ze mention anything start driving up. We decided to rent motorbike, as We Were approach at a local who watch us a motorbike with only 60rb waaronder ticket welke was alright, even though it cost more, but Along the way up to the Crater, we are loveable to stop and take pictures .

Heading up to the Crater was incredible experience, and we did not regret using bike we are loveable to witness amazing tall and a variety of trees and rich jungle and the contrast green colors it was true postcard scenery. We struggled a little with our bike when the road Become steeper, so we had to slow our speed. We Could feel the temperatures it was very cold Along the way, met name-when we travel with motorbike the wind just blew us away, so it's good to wear something that keeps you warm.

When we finally reached our destination, we Could feel the temperature rise Colder than we park our bike we walk towards the "Kawah Putih" and just before that u will see local programs offering us mask Because from a far distance, we Could Already smell the Crater, at first you will start coughing but later you get use to it. When we started walking down, "Wow" that was our first impression it was absolutely beautiful and looks just like the way it looks in pictures. 'You can see the contrast colors of the water Crater, and the mountains around it and the rocky Surrounding zijn feels as if you are not on a top of mountain, but like a tropical beach. If we walk remit we spot the best place for photos, and we Could not stop taking more and more pictures than we when sending this place of beauty.

On the right side you will see there is a cave a five meters deep man-made cave dat zegt had once leg-used as a sulfur mine. That mining factory was named Sulphur Ontgining Kawah Putih. The reason why the Crater was formally was Because of the eruption of Mount Patuha in 10-12 AD as u can see the soil is gray to white color it Because its Composed with sulfur.

The color of Crater kan ook Vary depending on the sunlight; sometimes the water is green and bluish, als the weather is bright, sometimes brown. There are'll be a big stones around it therein are beautiful. Various types of plants and animals add to the value of These sights. Some species of plants waaronder Cantigi, Lemo, Vaccinium (Typical plants of the Crater area), and Eidelweis. While synthesis types or animals therein often seen include eagles, monkeys, mouse deer, wild boar, panther and leopard.

A great sweat escape, Surely gives me dat satisfaction or natural attractions, no wonder many couples uses this place as hun pre-wedding pictures, the location and scenery are like Heavens, the combination of colors, the history, the plants everything makes it a really exotic place worth visiting
Mount Tangkuban Perahu

Tangkuban Perahu is a volcano outside of Bandung Indonesia (around 20km). Its elevation is just under 7,000 feet and local Sundanese call it the "upturned boat" from the legend or Dayang Sumbi. Its last eruption was in 1983 Berninahaus, hoewel de if you visit here you can see steam rising from the hot water springs in the Crater bottom. We rented a car and driver and left early in the morning; this is the best time to go Because it started getting Crowded with bus loads of Tourists at the time We Were about to leave the Crater. The drive from Bandung took about an hour and is mostly an ascent up the mountain. The countryside reminded me a lot of Rwanda as we made the drive, with pointed hills, Terraced crops or tea, and even some banana trees.

We paid 70,000 Indonesian Rupiah (about 8USD) to get JSON particle park, but must of that was for me Because it's Cheaper for Indonesian residents. There is a trail around morethan half of the rim of the Crater for viewing but you are not allowed to go down JSON particle Crater. Along part of the trail are verschillende little shops and places to eat and drink. '' You can ook port eggs ze cook on the hot variety Surfaces of the ground where the hot water springs are. If you're up for a horse ride, ze ook port locals who sell rides on the ponies. Bandung, Itself, is cooler dan in Jakarta but up here on the Crater Mountain the temperatures are cooler, too. I wore just shorts and a t-shirt, but you Might Be more comfortable with Bringing a sweater Along.

We did not take the trail completely to the end, but Expect to be here at least two or three hours if you walk all of it ... and even more if you're stopping to take pictures as Frequently as we did. Tangkuban Perahu is definitely worth a visit if you're around Bandung, or even in Jakarta and u have the extra time. It takes about three hours (with traffic) to get to Bandung from Jakarta.
